¡Hola!
My name is Chris Amaya, and this is my story. God has been a big part of my life; I have been a believer for over half my life. I had the privilege to have my volunteer work at a church seen by thousands of people on social media platforms. I started my creative journey on a tablet making designs using free apps, determined to learn graphic design so I could participate in being part of the creative team at the church. In addition, I taught myself photography. Currently, I’m studying at George Mason University pursuing a bachelor's in graphic design to further improve my skills and knowledge but also expand on them. I was once told, “you have to focus on one thing because you can’t be good at it if you do too many.” I wanted to challenge that, which led me to get experience as a video editor creating digital media content for a church, becoming a lead photographer, head graphic designer, web designer, creative director and social media manager. Throughout my journey in the creative atmosphere, everything brings me back to what John 1:3 in the Bible sums up; “All things were made by him.” I want my work to reflect my faith in ways that make people think and also highlight the beauty of God’s creation.

My work is divided into two parts: Graphic Design and Photography.
